Noise reduction is best done early on – during the RAW development stage, where the RAW converter has the enormous advantage of dealing with the RAW image data, unaffected by editing. But the others caught up and then, amazingly, Topaz Labs AI Clear and DeNoise AI bettered it. It produced better, sharper and cleaner images than anything else.
